Repairs and Renovation at the OSH

A big part of what we do at the RHA is maintenance and improvements at the Old Stone House. Those who have visited over the years know the small display room located on the left as you enter the museum. This room was never restored to be a “period room”. It has 1950’s era linoleum floors a drop ceiling and is used for displays and miscellaneous storage.

So we decided to do some renovations and create a “History of Ramsey” exhibit room. The work is already underway and we hope to have it completed by the end of the summer.

We’re also doing needed repairs to rotted areas of exterior siding and roof, and over the summer plan to do some painting as well.
